This month is all about automation. You can now react to anything that happens inside an onboarding flow without writing a single line of code.

Workflow Engine

Every step in your flow can now trigger automated actions when it's completed. Set up triggers, conditions, and actions to handle the busywork for you.

What workflows can do:

• Send custom emails
• Send SMS notifications
• Notify your team in real time
• Fire webhooks to other tools
• Branch on conditions (run different actions based on what the client did)

A full visual canvas for building your workflows:

• Outline rail and blocks for each action
• Inspector forms with friendly setup for emails, SMS, webhooks, conditions, and team notifications
• Run history so you can see exactly what fired and when
• Minimap with active glow + tooltips
• Instant insert and optimistic toggle/delete — the UI never makes you wait

Answer-Based Condition Builder

Build workflow rules directly from the answers your clients give. No formulas, no scripting — just point at the question and pick the answer.

WYSIWYG Email Template Builder

The email builder got a complete rebuild:

• Visual template builder with a gallery to start from
• Branding controls + sender configuration
• Variable insertion menu so you never have to remember syntax
• New V2 email pipeline with proper branding chain and reliable scheduled reminders

Improvements

• Friendlier validation messages in the builder — no more cryptic errors
• Sticky progress bar restored in the new client experience
• Duplicating a flow now correctly preserves workflows + signers

We've been heads down building, and there's a LOT to share. Let's get into it.

First Things First — Bug Fixes

We squashed a bunch of bugs this cycle, including some we didn't even know existed. That's on us.

But here's the thing — if you ever notice something off, please text us. We jump on bugs immediately. The faster we know, the faster it's fixed. Don't assume we already know about it. If something feels wrong, tell us. Seriously.

Bring Your Own AI Keys (BYOK)

You can now plug in your own API keys for AI models. We also added OpenRouter and Straico support — so you can talk to our AI using your own keys and your preferred providers.

In-Flow Messaging Widget

This one is huge. Your clients or employees can now send a message directly to your company while filling out an onboarding flow. There's a widget on the right side of each step — they type their question, you get it instantly. No more back-and-forth outside the platform.

Employee vs. Client Flows

You can now mark flows as employee flows or client flows. We noticed a lot of you are building onboarding flows for your own team, not just clients. Now you can organize and distinguish between the two.

Company Field — No Longer Required

We made the company field optional. If you're onboarding someone who isn't tied to a specific company — like an employee or a freelancer — you're no longer forced to fill that in.

CSV Export (Rebuilt)

Exporting responses to CSV wasn't as smooth as it should've been. We rebuilt it. Now it works the way you'd expect — clean, fast, and reliable.

MCP Support

360Onboard now has an MCP server. That means you can control it from your favorite AI clients — Claude, ChatGPT, and others. Manage your flows, check responses, all from the tools you already use.

Twilio SMS Reminders

You can now send SMS reminders to your customers via Twilio. Set it up, and your clients get a text nudge to complete their onboarding.

Pabbly Billing

For those of you in countries where Stripe isn't available — we added Pabbly Billing so you can still bill your customers through our platform.

One note: We'd love for you to run a test first. We've already done testing on our end, but if you want extra peace of mind, run a test transaction with a friend or reach out to me directly and we'll test together.

Box.com Integration

Everything from our platform can now be stored directly to your Box.com account. Another storage option for those who need it (joining Drive, Dropbox, and pCloud).

Yes, it's here. Dark mode. That's it. That's the update.

2FA Security

You can now enable two-factor authentication on your 360Onboard account. Lock it down.

Analytics & Audit Trail

Full visibility into your onboarding flows — see exactly when someone viewed a flow, when they completed each step, and the full timeline of activity.

Onboarding Complete Notifications

When someone finishes a flow, you now get a completion notification with a direct link to their responses. (There was a bug on this one too — fixed.)

Public Client Portal

A new themeable portal page that lists all of your public links in one place — perfect for sending one link instead of many. Gated behind an active custom domain so it's truly yours.

Conditional Step Navigation

Your flows can now branch at the step level based on how clients answered earlier questions. Skip steps, route down different paths, build truly adaptive onboarding.

Unsplash Image Picker

Search and insert beautiful Unsplash photos directly inside the builder — no more downloading and re-uploading.

New Step Layouts

Two new layouts for prettier flows:

• StepDashboard — app-shell layout with a 2-column grid
• StepTwoColumn — left column becomes a hero image panel

Dashboard Redesign

Brand new dashboard with stats, an activity feed, and redesigned hero-style flow cards with a stats strip and overflow menu.

Under the Hood: V2 Platform

Quietly, we also rebuilt huge parts of the platform from the ground up to be faster, cleaner, and easier to extend:

• New 3-panel flow builder with dedicated editors per step type and auto-save every 2 seconds
• DocuSign-style e-signature — real PDF rendering, drag-and-drop fields, multi-page support, multiline fields, 8 embedded Google Fonts
• AI Copilot redesign — diff preview before applying changes, process trace, redesigned actions popover
• 10-locale translation system — English, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Russian, Korean, Norwegian, German, Chinese
• 1-click OAuth platform access with friendlier scope labels and deep-linking back to the right step

You'll see a one-click "Switch to V2" button on your existing flows. New flows default to V2.

LTD is still around, but if you'd rather pay monthly or annually, you now can. Plan changes go through the Stripe customer portal so you're always in control.

E-Signature Builder Rebuild

We rebuilt the signature builder in stages over the month. The result:

2. Celebrations – Make completions memorable with animated celebrations: confetti, fireworks, emoji rain, sparkles.

3. Mark Tutorial Steps as Done – Clients can now check off tutorial steps as they complete them for easier progress tracking.

4. Dynamic E-Signature Fields – E-signature documents can now pull data from previous questionnaire steps. Example: Client selects "Premium Plan" in Step 1 → Their contract in Step 2 automatically includes "Premium Plan" in the document. The contract literally changes based on their answers.

5. "Change My Answer" Bug Fixed – Clicking "Change My Answer" now loads previous responses correctly.

6. Read-Only Fields – New field types for displaying information within questionnaires: info boxes and table columns. Perfect for pricing breakdowns, terms, or important information in the middle of forms.

Sensitive Data Steps (New Step Type)

Collect sensitive information with enterprise-level security built right in.

• Add a "Sensitive Data" step to any flow
• Clients are notified that their data is encrypted end-to-end
• Data auto-deletes 120 seconds after you view it (timer starts the moment you reveal the data – we enforce this on our end)
• Perfect for: bank account details, SSNs, API keys and passwords, any confidential client information

Better Results View

We've redesigned the results view to make it easier to find what you need and take action on client submissions quickly.

Improved Field Positioning

Fields now stay where you put them – no more jumping to the bottom of the list. Field types now match between the builder and sidebar for consistency.

Mobile-Friendly Flows

Your onboarding flows now look and work beautifully on mobile devices. Clients can complete everything from their phones without awkward formatting issues.

Menu Tooltips

Each flow menu item now has tooltips so you can quickly understand what each option does.

Account Deletion

Users can now delete their own accounts directly from settings if needed.

What's New

Conditional Logic – You can now make each form question dependent on another. Create dynamic, personalized onboarding flows that adapt based on your client's responses.

Save for Later – Your clients can now save their progress and complete the onboarding flow later. They can use either a password or magic link to pick up right where they left off.

Improved File Uploads – File uploads now work better than ever – smoother and more reliable for your clients.

Sticky Header – The header is now sticky on all client landing pages for easier navigation.

Modal Alerts – All browser alerts have been converted to clean, modern modals for a better user experience.
